The real estate buyer on the French Riviera today differs from the Buyer who purchased property a few years ago.

While previously property purchases on the French Riviera were often driven by emotions and rising prices, today's Buyer is pragmatic and sensible.

French Riviera Real Estate – Post-COVID and the War in Ukraine – New Realities

During the COVID-19 restrictions, demand for real estate on the French Riviera continued to grow, along with prices.

The primary buyers were mainly the French themselves and other Europeans.

Real estate agents worked extensively, many earning the highest incomes of their lives, and gradually sold off properties that had remained on the market for various reasons.

New realities also emerged in our work, such as online viewings and electronic notary signings.

This allowed our buyers to choose a property and complete the purchase remotely.

The main features of the luxury real estate market on the French Riviera in the post-COVID period are rising prices and a scarcity of new offers.

The military situation in Ukraine, while creating a temporary pause, did not generally affect clients' motivation to invest in real estate on the French Riviera.

With the lifting of COVID restrictions, the activity of Europeans, British, and French buyers was supplemented by clients from America, Canada, and other continents.

The demand from Russian citizens to purchase property also remains, though not everyone understands how to carry out their plans in the context of sanctions.
